Launched in 2016 BBO Community Matters was a £5m, three-year employability and skills project in the Black Country.
Focusing on priorities set by the Black Country LEP and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund, Community Matters aimed to tackle deep-rooted issues affecting employment opportunities for the hardest to reach as well as improving lifestyles, skills and wellbeing.
Initially delivered by 19 third sector organisations Community Matters provided countless good stories and a wide variety of support.
