The Coventry Building Society has announced they are donating £1 million to fund cost-of-living support in its home city of Coventry. Part of this is a new £100,000 fund to support Community Spaces across the city to stay open and be able to respond to rise in demand.

There are grants of up to £5,000 available to support community centres / community spaces in Coventry through the cost-of-living crisis during the Winter months where demand for support may increase but resources remain limited. Enabling community centres / spaces to deliver new or extend existing projects and activities that increase access to services and support for people facing financial hardship.

If you have recently received funding from us you do not need to resubmit governing documents.

If any of the policies are due for renewal during the 12-month period we request you resubmit them. With each application you will still need to submit a bank statement from within the last 3 months.

If you have not received funding from us in the last 12 months or you are a first time applicant you will need to submit all of the documents listed in the fund factsheet.
