Lena Mistry

Born and brought up in London and then moved to Coventry to join the foundation in June 2023.

Studied Creative Writing at Brunel University and worked in the publishing industry for six years. Has a background of PA, editorial, marketing and publicity and client care within publishing, but is excited to be part of a charity organisation and play her part in working for community benefit.

Outside of work, Lena loves arts and crafts. In her spare time, she loves to paint (watercolour and acrylic), create bookmarks and is learning how to embroider. She also runs her own online shop. Her love of reading enabled her to pursue a job in publishing, however, she is still an avid reader of contemporary, crime and translated fiction. During and after studying Creative Writing, she enjoys writing for her blog across all topics and one day hopes to be a published novelist.
