Important Update for Applicants

Applications have now been re-opened

We are still transitioning towards our new system, but we have re-opened our previous Salesforce system so applicants can still apply for the funding they need. Please look at our available grants page to view all available funding.

Today we are excited to announce a new partnership with Make Good Grow.

Make Good Grow matches skilled volunteers with community groups to tackle high impact projects. Using the Foundation’s connections with local charities and social enterprises, Make Good Grow will be able to increase the number of projects in its portfolio giving skilled volunteers the opportunity to lend a helping hand.

These projects will be advertised both on the Make Good Grow website and their community mobile app.

In return we will gain access to a reliable source of volunteers to further support their network of local charities. In addition to this the Foundation and our network will be able to use the facilities at 1 Mill Street, the home of Make Good Grow. This includes multiple event spaces and a podcast studio.

Tina Costello, Foundation Chief Executive, said:

“We’ve been in conversation with Make Good Grow for some time and believe this partnership has the potential to provide a huge amount of additional support to organisations in the West Midlands.

“There are so many amazing projects in our region and if we can help connect them to passionate volunteers then it will only benefit the communities we care about.”

Nigel Shanahan, Make Good Grow Founder, said:

“Tina and the team have already been a brilliant help to us and their advice on navigating the sector has proven invaluable. We think that their relationships with the organisations in the Midlands are the “missing piece of the puzzle” for us to start connecting our Passioneers with Community Groups who are already making a real impact.”
