Richard Port MBE

I began my career in law in 2013 at Wykes O’Donnell Williams in Derby focusing on family law and helping victims of domestic abuse and domestic abuse organisations. After moving around the country, honing my skills, I eventually settled in the West Midlands and was made a Family Law Partner at George Green LLP in April 2021. I represent and assist clients from all walks of life, in particular those who have been victims of abuse.

For my years of service, I was made an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honour list 2022 for legal services to domestic abuse victims. I was awarded Solicitor of the Year in the Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards 2022 and have been shortlisted for several awards.

My passion is to help those in need and defending them against their perpetrators and I will keep doing so until I am hopefully no longer needed.
