The former High Sheriff of Warwickshire, Mark Davies, has rewarded the Leamington Night Shelter for their great work in the community.
The organisation has received £500 to help them run their service as the colder months start to creep in.
Leamington Night Shelter runs from Radford Church, Leamington Spa, two nights a week. The charity provides food, shelter and clothing to rough sleepers in the area.
The grant was awarded through the Foundation’s High Sheriff endowment fund which has already seen £5,000 award to 10 fabulous organisations this year.
Foundation CEO, Tina Costello, said:
“We’re so grateful to be able to provide small, but effective, grants to organisations such as the Leamington Night Shelter thanks to our partnerships with High Sheriffs past and present!
“The Night Shelter does some brilliant work and provides essentials for those that really need support.”
