Charles Stanley Investment Managers served up a special treat on Wednesday evening with a rugby themed, sports dinner at Edgbaston Golf Club. The event which was attended by over 100 guests raised a whopping £5,000 on the night to support local young people.
The evening, which was also attended by VIP guests and ex-England rugby stars, Neil Back & George Chuter, was held to support our Youth Social Action programme, which aims to help young people to be more engaged and socially active in the community.
MC, Roger Dakin, kept the audience entertained throughout a lively evening which included a silent auction as well as speeches from Sir Dominic Cadbury and Tina Costello as well as Neil and George. All of the funds raised on the night will support our Youth Social Action programme in the West Midlands ensuring that local youngsters can create positive, social change close to where they live.
Jess Cook, Donor Development Director at the Foundation said:
“Tonight, was such a fantastic evening for us and a brilliant way to boost funding for young people, locally. It’s thanks to the support of all of the guests and our ambassadors that tonight has been such a success. We really can’t thank Charles Stanley enough for their support in making this evening happen but huge thanks must go to Tim Venner for all of his hard work, energy and support.”
